What We Do
Campervan Conversion Services
From full interior builds to single systems and DIY support, we arrange the right converter for the job.
Campervan Conversion
A full campervan conversion covers every system from insulation and ply lining through to a leisure battery bank, fresh and waste water tanks, and a sleeping layout sized to your van. We arrange an itemised quote and written build plan before any work begins, so you know exactly what is being fitted and why.
DIY Campervan Conversion Support
Support is available at a single stage, such as sizing a leisure battery bank or planning a rock and roll bed, or across the full build sequence from first layout sketch to final safety check. A converter reviews your plan, flags condensation and weight risks early, and helps you avoid the rework that catches most self-builders out.
Van Bed and Sleeping Area
The bed frame is templated to the van’s internal measurements, built from plywood, and finished with a foam mattress base and upholstered surface. Under-bed drawers or lift-up storage panels make use of the space below, keeping the rest of the interior clear. The converter checks clearance and stability before signing off the fit.
Van Electrical System Installation
The electrical system is planned and routed before insulation and ply lining are fitted, so every cable run is accessible and every fused branch circuit is correctly sized for its load. Commissioning includes a voltage drop check across the full system, a chassis earth grounding inspection, and a confirmed charge input from solar array and alternator.
Van Exterior Modifications
Exterior modifications range from bolt-on accessories such as roof bars and side steps to a full vinyl wrap covering faded or mismatched paintwork. Each component is checked for panel alignment and secure fixing before sign-off, so the result holds up on daily use rather than lifting or rattling after the first wet week.
Van Heating and Cooling Installation
A diesel heater provides fuel-efficient warmth without draining the leisure battery bank, while a ceiling cassette air conditioning unit handles summer heat using F-Gas compliant refrigerant handling. Both systems are assessed for roof clearance, electrical supply capacity, and duct routing before installation begins, and every roof cut-out is sealed against water ingress.
Van Interior Cabinetry and Trim
Each panel and cabinet carcass is templated directly from the van’s interior curves and wheel arch shapes, then cut and fitted so there are no gaps at the edges and no movement in transit. MDF shelving, laminate-faced panels, and plywood carcasses are all options depending on the weight budget and finish required.
Van Kitchen Installation
The kitchen unit is dry-fitted first to confirm clearances, then secured to the van floor and walls using fixings that hold under road vibration. The sink bowl and tap are plumbed to fresh and waste water tanks, joints are sealed, and a leak test is carried out before the worktop is finished. Drawers and cupboard doors are checked for rattle-free operation.
Van Plumbing System Installation
The system is laid out to maximise tank capacity within the available floor space, with pipe runs secured against vibration and routed for access at service points. A 12V pump pressure check and full leak test are carried out before the floor or cabinetry is closed over the pipework, so faults are found before they become water damage.
Van Repair and Maintenance
Routine servicing covers oil and filter changes, brake pad and disc inspection, tyre condition, fluid levels, and suspension checks on a 12-month or 12,000-mile cycle. Converted vans carry extra weight from fittings and leisure equipment, so a load-aware inspection catches wear that a standard service interval can miss.
Van Upgrade and Enhancement
Standard van suspension is calibrated for an unladen or lightly loaded vehicle. Helper springs, uprated shock absorbers, or an air bag kit correct the specific symptom, sag, roll, or bounce, without over-stiffening the ride when the van is empty. A load assessment confirms which components are right before any parts are ordered.
